Scripture in times of sorrow, Sorrow is real, with real and overwhelming effects; though we are in Christ and are the children of God we also move in the forms of human bodies. We are to be subject to the maladies of this world and our bodies.
God has established within the elements of nature, boundaries of duration for sorrow, yet it is our own emotions, and the nature of sin that adds to the intensity and elongation of the season of sorrow. For us believers we have the gift of the Holy spirit to help us through the minute by minute pains, allowing us to endure with strength and cleared mind.
Sorrow is a form of respect it shows your deep feelings for the lost, but God would not have us to be overwhelmed and enslaved by the process, through is Holy word we can come to a full and right mind towards sorrow. Mediate on these scriptures and think about how they apply to sorrow, then follow the revelations of the Holy spirit for your relief.
